More Than Miles Running Bootcamp has something for every woman – from the newbie runner to the weekend warrior to the seasoned marathoner.

You will learn to run faster, stronger, more mindfully and injury-free.  You will push your individual limits while nurturing a love of your body and of running.

Led by Kathy Pugh, Road Runners Club of America Certified Run Coach, More Than Miles Running Bootcamp for Women provides a supportive environment to help women use the joy of running to connect with their most powerful and purposeful selves.

Kathy has coached new moms searching for their pre-baby bodies, dedicated but bored runners looking to revive their stride, and marathoners seeking to improve their PR.  Kathy draws on her own journey as a woman, a mother and a runner to enhance her skills as a coach.  Click here to read more About Kathy.

What is a typical More Than Miles Running Bootcamp workout?
You will learn a variety of drills, including fartleks, tempo runs, stair drills, partnered running games, and the power of hills to improve your stride at any elevation.

Kathy brings a fresh approach to each workout to challenge your body, engage your mind and foster camaraderie.  The variety and effectiveness of Kathy’s workouts keep her runners coming back not only session after session, but also year after year.

Where do we run?
We run on the National Mall between 4th Street, SW and 7th Street, SW and on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC.  The Mall serves as a perfect running track; we are able to utilize the space while avoiding car traffic.  The U.S. Capitol dome provides an inspiring architectural backdrop for hill workouts.

What’s included?
In addition to dynamic warm-ups and workouts, Kathy provides the following elements of professional coaching to each of her runners:

When?
Early Morning Session runs Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 5:45 a.m. – 6:45 a.m.

Evening Session runs Tuesday 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m .

Kathy has completely transformed my approach to eating, and my relationship between food and running.
